First full day
Today was my first complete day of the course… and I both loved it and ended up extremely exhausted. One-on-one classes are amazing — I’m learning so much, and they focus on my weaknesses to make them stronger. I don’t have to wait for other people’s corrections, which is great.
But keeping my mind fully connected for all the classes, all day long, is really exhausting. And since here it’s hard to get distractions, sometimes it feels overwhelming. I told myself I wouldn’t be much on my phone, and now I catch myself looking for conversations so I don’t feel lonely. I guess I still need to find my balance with that.
Even so, I know I’ll improve a lot. We’re doing plenty of Ashtanga, which I love and really want to get better at. But by the end of the day, after the physical effort, the new knowledge, the philosophy and one-on-one talks… my brain just craves some distraction.
