Finding Presence
I’m not writing that often anymore. I guess I’ve found my way to be more present here. The days pass and my body feels it — I’m more tired, my muscles have less strength. Yet, surprisingly, my mind feels calm and stable. I’m good.
Sometimes I miss my people or wish I were doing something other than yoga, but honestly, I’m fine. Being the only student lets me ask anything I want. I’m getting to know them better, their prespectives on life, culture,… I’m getting deeper in their individuality, and we challenge ourselves with new questions, new thoughts and new prespectives. It helps me understand yoga philosophy and reflect on my own beliefs.
Even though we discuss life and the universe often, my views haven’t changed. I feel grounded in what I believe, even if I keep questioning things. It’s hard to explain, but it feels right.
