Halfway Through
The days pass, and I’m already halfway through the course. Some things are improving, while others simply remind me of how much work I still need to do. In the end, I choose to stay positive.
Even though it might seem like I’m doing crazy things with my body now, I used to do even crazier ones. Back when I was training in rhythmic gymnastics, that was my weekly routine — extreme postures, flexibility, balance… all pushed to the limit. Now, what I do is still challenging, but when I compare it to back then, I sometimes feel frustrated.
At the same time, I remind myself that I’m doing it in a healthier way now. Back then, there was no meditation or pranayama… now, even though they’re still really difficult for me, I’m working on them.
I guess I can’t have everything… and yet, somehow, I do have everything.
